Our History
Catapult3 began in the mid-eighties an exhibit/design company and distributor of internationally recognized trade show brands such as Nimlok, Modular One and Abex. With in-house manufacturing capability, we produced graphics and designed, fabricated and installed custom exhibits, interpretive, museum and point of purchase displays. The company incorporated in 1989 and was named Exhibit Plus Design. In 1993 we acquired Flags Lanigan, a banner specialty company with exceptional design and fabrication talent. Our custom banners and banner systems soon adorned corporate show rooms, retail stores, malls, restaurants, sports facilities, trade shows, festivals, and other special events around the country. In addition, we became independent distributors of stock banners including state and country flags, flagpoles, and banner hardware.
Also in 1993, we expanded into the retail display industry. Founding Idaho Store Fixtures, we became one of Idaho's only distributors of stock retail fixtures and accessories. Applying our expertise in portable exhibits to retail displays, we began designing, building and installing retail interiors, shelving systems, displays and kiosks. Our highly versatile Blade Series store fixture system made its national debut at the Global Shop in Chicago and was selected as one of the twenty best designs of the year in Display & Design Ideas magazine. It was featured on the cover of the March 1999 issue.
Meanwhile, our exhibit/design company was expanding in products and services. We developed our own products such as our line of customizable game wheels and increased our mass production capabilities. We offered full service exhibit management, including on-site installation and dismantle, event logistics management, storage/warehousing, custom crate building and shipping. We performed on-site management services in all major cities in the U.S. and in Europe and Asia
In 1999, we merged the three companies into one — Catapult3. Catapult3 maximizes the synergies of three original companies and streamlines service to clients. Our designers and production staff are experts in all three industries: exhibits/displays/graphics, retail design/fixtures/accessories, banners/banner systems/banner hardware. They have the depth and talent to take a project from concept to installation.
